Today, at sixty-something, I’m still that wide-eyed girl—only now I work from a sunlit studio, test patterns with retired teacher precision, and share everything I know right here.

Five years ago I decided to “retire.” Two weeks in, I missed the creative buzz. Friends kept asking for patterns and tips, so my granddaughter suggested I scan my notes and sell PDFs online. One digital basket pattern turned into a dozen.
